By Mommyshopsalot from Chapel Hill, NC on 03/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Trendy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Denim is so soft, very comfortable. Of course they are too long. Nicely made.
By Marta from New York, NY on 01/16/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Quality Material, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These jeans run about a half size big for Earnest Sewn, so they appear a bit loose. I'm planning on drying them on high to shrink them a little. The denim is very soft and comfortable. They are too long, as with most designer jeans.
By JGranite from South Lake Tahoe, CA on 01/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering Fit, High Quality Denim, Soft Cons: Exaggerated Fade Pattern Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the softest jeans I've ever come across! I hope they stay soft after I wash them. I'm usually a size 6 and I ordered the 29 -- the waist is a little big, but ok with a belt. Even so, there's not a huge gap in the back like some jeans have. I'm 5'10" and it's nice to have pants that are long enough.
My only complaint is the fade pattern. It looks like someone dusted me with flour when I was sitting down, so that when I stand up there are darker "creases". And below the knees the denim isn't faded at all. Again, I'm curious what washing them will do....
By SavvShopper from Austin, Texas on 01/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Authentic Fade Pattern, Comfortable, Flattering Fit, High Quality Denim, Holds Color Well, Holds Shape, Versatile Style Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, With Heels, With Sandals Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thank you STP for offering Earnest Sewn jeans! This particular pair are soft, stretchy and fit like a glove. Low rise, but with no gaps or cracks in the back! These are great for when you want to break out of the traditional blue jeans mold and take a walk in something a little more edgy - black denim. I look forward to my next pair of designer jeans, but without the insane price tag. Thanks STP for offering quality at a bargain!

By livesthegoodlife from Florida on 12/27/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Quality Material Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the fabric, and the overall workmanship of these jeans. Unfortunately they are a very slim cut throught the hip and thighs. I think they are true too size, I just don't like to wear my jeans this tight.
these jeans ride a little low By bike rcr from pdx oregon on 12/27/2007 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these jeans ride a little low & if you have bigger legs they fit a little to tight in the thighs.
By Diana from Merion Station, PA on 12/26/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Soft Material Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jeans fit beautifully. I've a flat rear end and they don't sag or have gaps at the waist. As is typically the case, they are long and have to be shortened. Fabric is light weight--not a heavy denim.
INCREDIBLE BARGAIN FOR A-LIST JEANS! By BARGAIN HUNTER from SAN FRANCISCO on 10/05/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Fantastic fit, Versatile Style Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Earnest Sewn has become a trendy fashionista brand; [...]Cut in a modern style, these jeans will flatter a willowy figure with a great fit and a comfortable fabric that will give as you walk or sit. Low rise hits just at the top of the hipbone but (happily!) does not gap in back. Inseam suitable for heels on shorter women or with flats up to 5'7 or 5'9. Unlike the new wide leg style, this straight leg style looks great with heels or boots or ballet flats. Jeans seem to run true to standard US sizing (I got them in a 28 and am a 4 or a 6 in standard U.S. sizing). If you have the figure for these jeans, you will not find a more comfortable but still flattering fit that looks age appropriate for young and mature alike, or a jean that will garner you more compliments when you wear them. And at this price they are an incredible bargain. Fact that Earnest Sewn are hand sewn in USA also a nice bonus.
