Karbon

Karbon

Karbon clothing and outerwear is designed and manufactured by Schure Sports, a Canadian company that has been a winter sports leader for over two decades. Karbon’s parent company is committed to providing the winter clothing for 17 national teams, targeting snow sports like alpine skiing, snowboarding and Nordic skiing. Karbon outerwear is designed for lightweight warmth, thanks to efficient Thermore® insulation in Thermolite® ski jackets or soft polyester fleece in Karbon vests and shirts. Consider your favorite winter sports before you make a purchase: Karbon’s stretchy soft shell jackets are great for Nordic or cross country skiing, while fully waterproof and thoroughly insulated Karbon ski jackets are best for serious downhill skiing. No matter your snow sport, you need a moisture-wicking shirt... and it never hurts to have ski pants with Teflon® stain protection.

This coat provides exceptional functionality for the backcountry skier at a great price. It is fully waterproof, and breathes very well. It kept me dry ice climbing near Gatineau on a four day expedition and I can't wait to use it for years and adventures to come!

Comments:
I am a bike commuter, looking for alternatives to cotton long-sleeve t-shirts. This was definitely too light to be considered a warm layer for winter. It seemed more like a sunblocking shirt than a winter layer, and would seem to be good for cool runs.

This is a great shirt. It seems to run a little big, but not too much. I ordered a large the 1st time and it was little big, so I ordered a medium the 2nd time and it was perfect. I wear them both to work and have no complaints.

I bike commute and need good base layers. This was warm and comfortable, but it was also totally rotten as soon as it started drying. The shirt and myself were both freshly washed before the ride, too.

I didn't really know the Karbon brand, but now I think I am a big fan. Hasn't been tested in the real cold weather yet but it seems like it going to be a solid warm coat that has styling too!!

Very happy with jacket. Sleeves are a bit long (and I have long arms) but I'd rather them be long than have cold wind hitting my wrists. Lots of pockets and zippers. Color is great.
