By Vix from Barrie, Ontario on 12/17/2008 Pros: AWESOME, Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: White- gets dirty easy Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat provides exceptional functionality for the backcountry skier at a great price. It is fully waterproof, and breathes very well. It kept me dry ice climbing near Gatineau on a four day expedition and I can't wait to use it for years and adventures to come!
Not as warm as midweight would indicate By Dave from Raleigh, NC on 12/08/2008 Best Uses: Layering, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a bike commuter, looking for alternatives to cotton long-sleeve t-shirts. This was definitely too light to be considered a warm layer for winter. It seemed more like a sunblocking shirt than a winter layer, and would seem to be good for cool runs.
By PFH from Wenatchee, WA on 12/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Competition, Cycling, Gym, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great shirt. It seems to run a little big, but not too much. I ordered a large the 1st time and it was little big, so I ordered a medium the 2nd time and it was perfect. I wear them both to work and have no complaints.
By booroof from Brentwood.TN on 12/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my husband. The shirt is very warm and lightweight. Great for morning workouts-plus it would look great out casually.
By It might just be me from Chicago, IL on 11/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bike commute and need good base layers. This was warm and comfortable, but it was also totally rotten as soon as it started drying. The shirt and myself were both freshly washed before the ride, too.
By Shaken from Black Hills SD on 11/27/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fit great now we just need snow to test them on the slopes.
Great Coat lots of extra details By Sue, a Mom who likes the outdoors from Northern Michigan on 11/27/2008 Pros: Durable, Lots of Pockets, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't really know the Karbon brand, but now I think I am a big fan. Hasn't been tested in the real cold weather yet but it seems like it going to be a solid warm coat that has styling too!!
By JLH from Marlton, NJ on 11/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Extreme Conditions, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very happy with jacket. Sleeves are a bit long (and I have long arms) but I'd rather them be long than have cold wind hitting my wrists. Lots of pockets and zippers. Color is great.
