Comments: I thought it would be good for taking a few flies out for quick fishing sessions, but it is too bulky for its small size, difficult to stay shut, and the flap catches easitly on things. So now I only use it to store spare flies at home.
lite weight, plenty of pockets

Comments: Own a L.L. Bean fishing pack with shoulder staps. I enjoy this pack more. Lite weight compared to the Bean pack, and can hold all my fly fishing accessories.

Cons:

Best Uses:
not very usefull

Comments: I expected the pack to have more storage space given the size of the pack. There's barely space for a fly box.

Comments: This thing is very easy to use...no restriction of movement in casting and enough room on the back for lunch and drink...well made..It rides higher than a fanny pack and I feel is more suited to the flats, creek roaming angler.

Comments: I like the pack overall. It is very light and comfortable. I do not like the torso straps, they do not adjust well and I worry that the magnets will wear out fast (only time will tell). Also the nylon is very thin and may not last very long, but you have to expect this from such a light pack. This pack has alot of storage space for how light and compact it is,I can fit a compact jacket and cap in the rear pocket and fly boxes, tippet, etc. in the front pocket. It also has two built in retractors (one on each pocket, would be nice if they were both on the same side of the pack), a forceps pocket, and two removeable water resistant pockets (advertised as waterproof but they are not).I modified my torso straps and retractor setup and would now give it 5 stars but as it comes only 3 or 4. I think it would be hard to find a better deal on a chest pack. Many packs on the market offer less space and still weigh more and are less comfortable.

Pros:
Durable, Functional
Best Uses:
Fresh Water, Traveling
Describe Yourself:
Avid Fisher
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: I've owned the creel for several years after I tired of overstuffed vests that made me look like Sasquatch. It is almost just what I want, but its fitting shortcomings are too burdensome. The adjustment straps are mediocre and fail to hold their settings. More importantly, the creel desperately needs an optional strap that you can sling over your off shoulder. As it is, it pulls and sags and grows uncomfortable, even slipping off like a bad prom dress during the last dance. The overall construction is outstanding (in fact, I'd like it a bit lighter), and it's a well-planned minimalist rig. I'm going to bootleg a strap to see if I can salvage mine, but otherwise I'd buy a different WJ piece.
