By Sue P from Seattle on 09/12/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy To Setup, Lightweight Cons: Flimsy Design, Short Run Time Best Uses: Campgrounds, Emergencies Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two, and stored them over the winter inside the house. One did not work at all when I tried to use it, the other stopped working a couple of months later. A really great idea, but poor quality.

By Robin from Adirondack region on 08/30/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy To Setup, Lightweight, Long Run Time, Powerful Light Output Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was skeptical when I saw the size of this lantern; however, after winding for a minimal time, it was powered for an extremely long time (like an hour) for use by my young daughter in her tent. A great value.
By The dude from NH on 07/20/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Emergencies, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lightweight little lantern with decent light output and run time. It does feel a little cheap and prone to break down and easy wear and tear. One of the two I ordered arrived damaged which I returned. I chose not to get another partly due to my concerns of it's quality[...]
By The Phone Man from Jacksonville, FL on 07/15/2009 Pros: Bright, Out performs my qbeam, Spare Bulb, Stable Cons: Batt corrode if not used, Needs alternate power, No Beam Adjustment Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really enjoy my light. I have one for my truck and one for my boat. The one for my truck doesn't get used often and I went to recharge the batteries and one of them was leaking. The company only sent there condolence and offered me a deal on another set... I have only had it 6 months. But, other than that, they are awsome. I have a q-beam rechargable that only wishes to be this portable. I would reccommend this over most of the higher priced ones, even with the thin lense and the 45min battery. My co-worker paid [$] for his different brand and this one is brighter and lasts longer... I told him there is medication for that.
By NCCamper from North Carolina on 06/11/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy To Setup, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Emergencies Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good light output for its size, but charge does not last long (or store, for later use). Plastic crank arm appears easy to break if cranked too hard.

By JMK from Missouri on 05/25/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy To Setup, Lightweight Best Uses: Campgrounds, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good light, but the crank falls off easily and we almost lost it on our last camping trip. Otherwise it has been a practical little light. We love the fact that it does not need batteries!
Very small...almost "cheap" looking By 4boyz1mommy from Colorado on 05/18/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this as a gift. I hope it will be useful to the recipients. Definitely easy to use but looks kind of cheap.

It's practical. However, besides it lacks quality, you get what you pay for and is a fair tool for the price you pay
