The Brightest Flashlight I Ever Owned! By Sierra Trading Post Shopper from Los Angeles, CA on 12/18/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Incredible illumination with a fully charged battery. But with constant on, expect about 45 minutes of diminishing illumnation and when the battery is out of power, it will dim out very fast. If you drop it,which I have, very high chance you will need to replace light bulb and possibly crack the glass lens.

By beepadeebeep from Vermont on 11/10/2008 Pros: Easy to Use, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cracking it for a few seconds is enough for my 10 - 15 minute ride home at night. Love that it doesn't use batteries. Only downside is how the light connects to the carrier. It must be removed to crank and it's a little difficult to slide off. The plastic seems somewhat delecate, but it hasn't broken yet.
Does what it is supposed to By wrx from boston, ma on 11/08/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these lights for commuting to and from work in all weather conditions. I got tired of having to replace batteries and batteries leaking and bursting inside other lights. These take care of that problem and for the past few months of use, I have had no issues with them. They are bright enough and stay lit for a long time. The only complaint is that they are a bit difficult to remove every time I park the bike. I am afraid that with repeated usage I will break the mounting bracket. However, they have not fallen of the bike yet, despite all the potholes in Boston.
I was very happy with this flashlight. By Rick from Chester Va. on 11/08/2008 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Spare Bulb, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This light is extremly bright and durable. I really like the fact that the battery is rechargable, but wish it would accept standard batterys as well.
Nice idea, not enough power By Castle Rock from Castle Rock, CO on 11/08/2008 Pros: Easy to Use, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bike to and from work often and was looking for a light supplement for those dark patches in between street lights with the shorter fall and winter days. It hardly has enough power to light anything in your path unless you're traveling at under 5 mph. Being crank powered though, it's a great toy for my 17 month old son and I will probably keep it around in a glove box for an emergency light. Bottom line: not good for biking, but not a useless product.
By Flower lady G from western CO on 11/08/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy To Setup, Lightweight, Long Run Time Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Emergencies Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this little lantern for some remote car-camping, it is great for tent-lighting and tail-gate kitchen lighting. I love the fact that it never needs batteries, and seems to run a long time on just a few cranks.
