We purchased the Adirondack chairs in the spring and were very excited to see the footrests back on STP. These chairs and footrests are an unbelievable value! Very sturdy, very comfortable. Just used some teak oil to enhance the waterproofing.

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments:
We had this hand-crank bicycle light with us when we went camping, and it worked really well. I bought it for my daughter, and she used it on her bike, full beam, at night, going to town and back, as well as for getting around the campground. She loved winding it up before sacking out, which was an unexpected plus. And it was always bright. Most important, it proved a reliable back up, when our tent light batteries went. We havent biked with it in the rain yet, though.

Apex Technologies Dynamo LED Headlamp

Good product
By HongVerified Reviewer from MA on 08/24/2008
Pros:
Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable
Cons:
Extra Wire
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
It has worked fine for me. There are two issues that I have had: 1. Unlike my other headlamp, the battery pack is separated from the headlamp and connected to it via a wire. One needs to find a proper place for securying the battery pack. I clipped it to my belt but it fell quite a few times. 2. The bulbs are so close to rim that there is some light shone on my glasses creating soem glare effect. If you do not wear eye glasses, this should not be an issue

Apex Technologies Teak Patio Adirondack Chair

Good materials, screwed-up execution
By mikey from weston, ma on 08/09/2008
Pros:
High quality materials, Weather Proof
Cons:
Mistakes in design, Tough To Assemble
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
[...]Good materials are marred by mistakes in execution. Drill holes don't line-up, one part had holes on the wrong face. The chairs will need reinforcement from a couple of brackets because of these flaws...totally unacceptable. The only reason I didn't send back is because the materials are worth it and the annoyance of returning.

Great bargain

Pros:

Cons:
Tough To Assemble
Best Uses:
Decks
Describe Yourself:

Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a great bargain for teak. The chair is very comfortable and has nice wide armrests to hold drinks. It's stained a nice cinnamon color, although there is a fair amount of variation in color between each slat. I imagine that will weather out in time though. Assembly was not simple however. The predrilled holes did not match up and had we had to drill them again to get the chair to go together. The package of screws that were included came open in transit and were rolling around loose in the box. They damaged one of the armrests slightly and a couple got lost. Even with the assembly hassle we are very pleased with the chairs.
