Great item for what it is...protection! By Andrewbob from Savannah, GA on 12/03/2007 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Fishing, Hunting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Fishing, Hunting, Spectator sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used a buddy's once while fishing before I bought mine. Very light weight, and does it's job well. Maybe not the most fashionable item in it's category, but as for "bang for the buck" it's hard to beat. I ordered a size larger than what I normally wear, and that was a good move. This rainsuit is not restrictive at all...I may use it for golf in inclement weather as a result!
By nate from mass on 11/29/2007 Cons: It makes too much noise Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i do like the rain suit they do show it as one unit as pic shows but is seperate i do like it to noisie for the woods
Perfect Lightweight Hunting Suit By kifaruwarrior from Milwaukee, WI on 11/27/2007 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lighweight, Quiet Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Damp Conditions, Warm Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this product on a Caribou hunt in northern Manitoba. It is perfect to stash in your daypack as emergency rainwear because it is lightweight. It is quiet if you wash it a couple of times before using. It does not work well in steady rain and in the cold. When the suit is wet and cold it becomes noisy. So choose your application wisely. Otherwise given certain conditions, it's better than Gore-tex.
great product for the price By critergeter from washington on 11/10/2007 Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used the product throughout the hunting season and the only downfall that I can say is they are noisy when walking but setting in the rain they work great.
By Sam Spears from Conway, Arkansas on 10/22/2007 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: A buddy paid almost [$]for these, so seeing them in your sale, I bought my son and I both a set and used them "right out of the package NEW" (last week)... They leaked "all over". These may be rain resistant, but NOT rain-proof! [...]
By hunter from Idaho Falls, ID on 10/20/2007 Cons: color fade after 1st wash, Heavy Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: noisey when walking through the woods
Very odd sizing - perhaps for women? By DrTofu from Rhode Island on 10/19/2007 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Walking the dog Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: When I received this item, the specifications on the packet say that their medium size (chest 42-44, waist 34-38 ), which I ordered as a relatively height/weight proportional male, is for a person of 5'4". They don't reach a height of 6' until you get into the 2XL (chest 54-56, waist 46-50). Perhaps these are actually intended for women, not men as advertised. Thus these are likely to be very short or very loose on you!
By Turk from Florence, AZ on 09/22/2007 Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Cold Climate, Warm Climate, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great light weight product for rain protection. It is not those light, flimsy, plastic rain gear. These are more cloth like.
By dwfree from Missouri on 09/13/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip Best Uses: Cold Water, Fly Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are comfortable enough to wear all day fishing. I'm able to walk comfortably in them as well. The felt/studded soles grip well on wet, mossy rock.
By dwfree from Missouri on 09/13/2007 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Cons: Difficult to Take on and Off Best Uses: Cold Water, Fly Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They don't leak, yet! Require insulating pants in cool water. Rock guards are a bit tight and difficult to get down and up over boot tops. Overall an excellent value. Very happy with them.
