By Skithru from at the time - 20 miles from Canada on 10/29/2009 Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Safe Best Uses: Emergency Preparedness, Keep In The Trunk, Outdoor Activities, Quick Fix Describe Yourself: CPR Trained Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Many years ago we, ie- young son, wife & I spent a summer night under "one" of these way up north. Don't ask - long story. We were not planning an overnight. The product works, but it was a blanket war as we clamped an arm down on opposite sides. Now we each have our own + extra. These are great for when when you don't "plan" to need them!
At this price ! grab 1 for each vehicle, and pack, and boat, ect !
Great for older folks during the winters By Mini from Northern CA on 10/27/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I buy them for my older parents to keep their hands warm
By Amber from Upstate New York on 10/25/2009 Pros: Durable, Effective, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Car, Emergency Preparedness, Hiking, Keep In The Trunk, Outdoor Activities Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These lightweight emergency blankets are sometimes called "space blankets." I keep one or two in my backpack and car at all times. I have never had to use one for a real emergency, but I have used this as a supplemental layer on a colder-than-expected backpacking trip to extend the rating of my sleeping bag. The price is great as is the quality.

By batmick from Carlsbad, CA on 10/19/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor sport events Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought some hand and some foot warmers so this review covers both.
My girls are competitive swimmers and we spend many weekends in and around outdoor pools. One of the greatest challenges is to keep warm between races. Especially hands and feet cool out quickly.
The Grabber heat packs are amazing. Once activated they stay warm at just the right heat to prevent the chills. In combination with some sheepskin boots the feet actually get hot and the girls take the boots off every now and then to cool off. No more whining and shivering for us. What a relief.
We found that the warmth lasts longer than the promised 4-5 hours. The last pack of hand warmers were still notably warmer than room temperature 8 hours after activation. Great product!
By loper53 from NE on 10/18/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used to keep feet warm while coaching on a wet/cold sideline of a high school football game recently. After the game, others commented about how cold they got...I was warm and comfortable throughout!
