By Lucy from NSW on 07/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Cocktail Party, On a Date, Special Occasions, To Work Describe Yourself: Career, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I expected that the top of the skirt is on the waist line as on the picture, but it is hardly so – that interesting feature at the top is too tight on hips. Bigger size probably will be too loose on waist. But the skirt is beautiful, so I decided to wear it despite discomfort.
By New York Shopper from New York on 07/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Eclectic Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was very lovely, chenille fabric but mislabeled size. Large way too small and I am a 12. Returned and thought XL would also be too small.Would recommend to a small person.
Too much whiz and not enough bang By picky from San Jose, CA on 07/05/2008 Cons: Rides-up, Wrinkles Easily Best Uses: On a Date, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The skirt is too short and bit over-priced for the quality.
By mucmadl from San Diego, ca on 06/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Trendy Chest Size: Feels too small Neck Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This top is cute, but someone lacked the necessary versatility. I just was not sure what to wear it with, so sent it back. It also felt a bit small in the chest area, and I am not really big..
By Lousquared from Boston, MA on 05/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On a Date, To School, To Work Describe Yourself: Artistic, Bargain Shopper, Eclectic, Sexy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a gorgeous skirt. I'm 5 feet 9 inches, and it comes to mid calf. On somone shorter it may not work. The color is not as odd as some might say. It is a very dark green, almost to the point of looking black. If you are creative enough, there is a lot that will go with this skirt. I'm wearing it today with medium gray and lavendar and it looks great!
By LilyoftheField from Longmont, CO on 05/05/2008 Best Uses: Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Classic Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the prettiest crochet sweater I've seen at any price. It seems to run small. I normally wear a 14/16 and found the XL tight in the arms and across the chest but still comfortable.
The yarn is chenille-which was not in the description.
By monti from Turkey on 04/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Cocktail Party, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this skirt with its cardigan. I think to wear this skirt without the cardigan will be a little difficult.
Looks great on an hourglass figure By Lindygirl from New York, NY on 04/09/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Casual Work Days, dresses up and down, On a Date, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Eclectic, Sexy, Stylish retro Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love wearing this skirt with knee-high boots and a black or brown sweater. I get compliments on it all the time. It's beautifully made, uniquely pieced, and the fabric is light and gauzy. You can wear in winter with tights, or summer with ivory tank top and sandals. The color is a near-black hunter green, not quite an olive, which does make it tough to find tops for - a rust or bronze might work. I've worn it shopping, to work with a black jacket, and to the Met Opera. Downside is that the raw edge, though stitched along the edge, does unravel and I need to trim the long threads before I wear it. Doesn't stop me, though. On the more expensive side, but worth it. Sizing - I'm between a 4 and a 6 in higher end clothing and 4 fits well.

By Peggy from Saginaw, MI on 03/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Very well made, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: On a Date, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This skirt is fantastic. The pleats are crisp and sharp. The design on the lower half is really unique. The fabric is amazing. I wore the skirt to work where I sit at a desk for most of the day. When I took the skirt off after work, I noticed that there were no wrinkles in it! Amazing! Wish all my suits and skirts were made from such a non-wrinkle fabric.
