By M in MT from Bozeman, Montana on 11/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Best Uses: Book Reading, Saving on Heating Bills, Year-round Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great blanket that does what blankets do - keep you warm. Colors are nice and muted. If you treat this thing well, I imagine it may well be around for a couple of decades. When it's on sale, buy two and give one as a gift - you won't be disappointed.

Top Notch, and Machine Washable Wool! By Ephblum from Amherst, NY on 11/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Soft Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Winter, Year-round Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought two of these as Xmas presents and although I haven't actually taken them out of the package, I have opened them to examine/feel the fabric and it is a nice, soft wool. I would say mid-weight in terms of thickness. Very well made in the USA. These will be used in the family room and the blanket is huge compared to the throw size blankets you normally find, so the feet won't be sticking out. Of course, one of the biggest draws to Rhoutt County Woolens is their machine washable wool. Nice to have a sturdy, durable blanket that will hold up over the years (ie: a wool blanket) that doesn't have to be dry-cleaned. A great deal here on STP for us considering how much it will be used. Green color gave me a little pause, but it will go well with our burgundy furniture, especially considering the burgundy stripe. There are also some large block stripes in the design that you cannot see from the picture shown here, you can check their website for a better picture.

By Anon from Worcester, MA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice medium-heavy weight blanket. We're using it in late fall with a heavy cotton bedcover - warm and cozy; it'll soon be under a midweight down comforter for the cold New England nights! Long enough for adequate tuck at bottom of bed.
