By Justin-ski from Orlando, FL on 12/05/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: For skiing in Maine, these will work fine, but I always prefer something a little lighter and looser. Those types breathe better and look like regular pants, whereas these look a bit like puff pants.

By Roger the Dodger from Coral Springs, FL on 12/05/2007 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The snowboarder styling and youthful cut just was not what I needed as a middle-aged skiier.
By Henriennui from Minneapolis, MN on 12/05/2007 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Zippered slash pockets Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these pants snow shoeing and winter-time camping. I even have worn them ice-biking. If you are exerting yourself a lot, they may not keep up "breathing" and you may have some moisture retention, but the liner seems to wick that away from your skin. I once opened the cargo pockets to vent some moisture, which worked but at 0 degrees F, I got some frost lining the pockets. Good solid winter time pants.

Good Quality & Features - not my color By Dave the Scouter/Student from Boston on 09/11/2007 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket is full of features that I like. Pockets, not bulky, warm. I ordered the jacket to wear for my public transporation commute, camping with Boy Scouts, and general casual wear on campus. I know I usually need a "tall" size, but the price was too good to not try it. The coat is too short for my liking and the color doesn't agree with me. I prefer a darker color.
