Try it you might like it !! By Kish from Divide, Colorado on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have not had the chance to wear it on the slopes yet. Around the house, so far so good. Have had some cold weather this year and with the wind chill in the minuses the jacket seems to be doing it's job agents the harsh Colorado winter.
By Wow, great deal! from Santa Monica, CA on 01/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket for under [$] (it's now [$], only two weeks later - not sure how I lucked out!!). So, suffice it to say, I got an amazing deal!I went skiing in Colorado over new year's, where I experienced the cold/ wind of the continental divide. Suffice it to say, this jacket performed admirably. It has plenty of pockets (including an inner iPod pocket, which I took advantage of while skiing). The pocket is made to accommodate an iPod video, but anything smaller should also fit. The jacket comes with a zip-off hood, which I didn't use, but still happy for the functionality.I wore the jacket with an inner thermal layer, a merino wool turtleneck, and a zipped polar fleece jacket, and was toasty warm, even when the wind was howling.Cons:- Doesn't come with a plastic hang tag for hanging ski passes (had to tack it onto a zipper, which was awkward). - The zippers on the pockets are tiny, so I had to take off my ski gloves every time I wanted to open a pocket. Since I paid so little for this jacket, I feel like I got a tremendous deal.

By Review by mom from Snowy Michigan on 12/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Not too cutsie, Versatile, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My child is a pre-teen and we searched many places for a jacket with a faux fur hood that was durable, light weight, good colors for snow and would wear well in the "slushy" season. The small size was perfect for this child. Not too cutsie, but cute. Not too feminine, but attractive. Loves it.
Nice jacket for colder weather By elemental from Cedar Rapids Ia on 12/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered two of these and they are fairly warm , for less than $20 each they will probably see lots of use in dirty jobs. the Sweat shirt hood is a plus, light weight and resistance to wind is ok A nice warm slightly longer jacket than most, good value.

By Swim Daddy from Washington State on 12/26/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good for young teens Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the reviews and ordered a size larger but even a medium was way too short in the arms. I've returned it for a large and am hoping it will work. My daughter loved the coat and thought it was very cool. Good coat @ less than $30.
