By fantom from On the road. on 11/16/2009 Best Uses: Recreation, Transportation Car/Motorcycle Describe yourself: Boat owner, Outdoorsman, Traveler Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great to have the coffee stay very hot on the long road trip. On the boat, beats a thermos. Works well to heat up 'ready to eat soup'. The sliding flap that covers the drink hole is rather loose and slides over the hole when tipped to drink. However, if you have probiscus like elephant seal, you can hold it in place, otherwise dexterity of finger works, too.
By happy camper from Castle Rock, WA on 11/09/2009 Car/Motorcycle Describe yourself: Auto Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Allows us to charge a gps unit as well as a cell when we travel.
By High Country Fisherman from Albuqueque, NM on 11/09/2009 Pros: Durable, Long battery life Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Only part of the torch body is aluminum. Larger than the photo by "you dirty dog" from WI. Too heavy for backpacking.

big flashlight with big beam By javagirl from chapel hill on 10/31/2009 Cons: Heavy, No Beam Adjustment Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great big bright beam that about covers the whole road for walking at night with my elderly dog. Heavy for backpacking use, always check the weight and size.
By Dan The Man from Philly on 10/31/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use to Walk the Dog and local hikes. Small yet sturdy and bright.
By Adrian from Missoula, MT on 10/26/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not very bright but adequate for automotive work. Gets disconcertingly warm when plugged in. I charge it and unplug it.
By Bluegrass Bassman from Kingston, Tennessee on 10/24/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well built and produces a decent light beam. This flashlight holds 6 AA batteries in two rows of three each which makes for a fairly small package. The frame is of polished, machined aluminum with a rubber grip. I would buy this flashlight again and am going to order two more of them.
Hi-Test or Unleaded? Either way your Hot By Care Bear from Flagstaff, AZ on 10/21/2009 Car/Motorcycle Describe yourself: Auto Enthusiast, Casual Driver Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these mugs! They are easy to hold and stay level on the counter. I had another model a few years ago but the connector part on the mug was heavy and had it tipping over all the time creating unwanted spills on the counter. These are sturdy and easy to hold. IT DOES GOT HOT!! Almost too hot. I found that it only takes about 5 minutes to make my drink hot, not the 30 mins stated on the packaging. Having 2 is nice since I often commute with others. I bought a second set for a gift.
By 1cleverchef from SC on 10/20/2009 Pros: Durable, Long battery life Best Uses: Spare flashlight for car Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Flashlight seems sturdy enough, not super bright but should do the job. Seems fairly well made, if it holds up it will be a good investment for emergencies. I keep this one in my car, I had an old D-cell flashlight in my trunk- it was dead when I needed it one night. The flashlight was relatively inexpensive with discounts.
