Excellent Glove Box Light By Curly from Seattle on 03/19/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking, Spare auto light Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This compact flashlight is in a small suite of armor. You could probably drive your car over it.The metal case is shiny bright so you can find if you dropped it in the weeds. It uses 3 AAA batteries which are small & light and in this application last a long time. A good back up to your headlamp.

carry in glove box of car for emergencies, and
around the house for power outages.
By Regular Guy from Chicago on 02/27/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The lamp has 6 led's, on mine, only 5 of them light up. This lamp is a poor mans Princeton Tech. Their hand held lamps are waterproof and far more durable
By Sunshine from El Cerrito on 02/23/2009 Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good emergency light. I keep it next to my bed.
By epar002 from Lakewood CO on 02/04/2009 Cons: Bigger then I thought Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good size and bright well built
By Hope from NY on 01/23/2009 Cons: Heavy, NOT FOR COLD WEATHER Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: wHEN I NEEDED IT MOST, IT FAILED ME! Winter camping and it would not work more than an occasional flicker! However, it might be good in warm weather and does seem sturdy if a bit on the heavy side. My headlamp worked and saved the day (night!) this past weekend. Do not rely on just one light source unless you are SURE is the moral.
By uncle jimbo from PDX on 01/21/2009 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable Best Uses: Car Camping, Emergency use in truck Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not sure about battery life since the insert refers to it a disturbing amount. However, it works fine so far. It should be great for emergency use in a vehicle or car camping. The spot is bright.
By Stoker from Cary, NC on 01/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pretty decent light. The build quality is not excellent, but it is bright and uses std. batteries (AAA).
