By Ohio Buck Hunter from Elyria, Ohio on 01/14/2009 Cons: Not sure it even works Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The batteries provided with the light are dead,
or the light it self does not work.
I will know more when I buy 3 triple a batteries
By Hope from NY on 01/14/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, LED, Long battery life Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got it as a back up for head lamp and other flashlight (both of which I got from you) but taking it this weekend camping. Good as a spare for home too! Just a little on the heavy side, but that comes with good quality many times.
By STP Fan from NY on 01/10/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's much bigger than it needs be but that makes it easy to grip and easy to find if you drop it. It's great for nighttime dog walks and general use around the house. Great price for a 1 Watt LED
By STP Fan from NY on 01/10/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This isn't a high quality light that you'd really want to rely on in an emergency, but it's great for home use around your car. It's also great for room lighting during a blackout as it's current drain is very low for the light output. Connect this to a common 7 Amp 12 v battery and you'll light up a good sized room for 24 hours.
Very Bright, but focused as well. By Craig from Atlanta, GA on 01/07/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for camping & hunting. Not too heavy for backpacking.
By Beachcomber from Cape Cod on 01/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one strong light source. Purchased to have on hand with frequent power outages at home. Was tricky initially to operate... LED ring at the top had to be tightened for everything to connect. Beware also of very sharp edges when connecting pieces to the base. That said, I am very happy with this flashlight and have used it daily for one reason or another.
does not work right out of the package By na from milw wi on 01/01/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: cant use the product

Meets all my expectations By outdoor guy from Seattle, WA on 12/31/2008 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Strong beam up to 250 ft Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Mtn climbing, Trail running Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for any nightime outdoor activity, or as an auto, boat or home emergency light. The beam does not adjust but is closely collimated and doesn't need adjustment for up to 250 feet distance.
By josh from Wisconsin on 12/29/2008 Best Uses: Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the money, this is one of the best flashlights you will find. I have a similar Dorcy flashlight that paid twice as much for that is not nearly as bright. If you need a good all around flashlight, you won't be disappointed.
Great quality, compact, and bright By Maggie from Vermont on 12/28/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This seems to be a very well made flashlight, much better than any other we've ever had. It is bright and compact.
