This is an excellent flashlight. Although there is no beam focus it is set up for a good compromise. The light is very bright and relatively compact.

I bought this light because I've been looking for a good trouble light for my car emergency kit. The quality seems good and I like the design. However, I luckily have not used it for it's intended purpose yet.

A fair buy.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
It is not as bright as the Mag Lite we own but it is lighter to carry and the size fits in a small woman's hand easier. There is a small (similar size and price) Mag Lite that I wish I had bought locally instead.

I bought this for my son who is an Avid hiker back packer. The light lasted exactly 5 minutes and then died. I will be returning product. Hopefully just a fluke.

Cuts off all the time, Dim, Light does'nt come on, No Beam Adjustment
Best Uses:
Crab line sinker, Paper weight
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This flashlight is junk. Alot of times button does'nt turn on light. You have to unscrew end cap and mess with batteries to get it to come on. When it does come on light will dim down to about 25% output then go back to full power then dim again.
