So I ordered anyhow. I love the size, however these ARE thin and have not bulked up with minimal use.
Too thin with many pulled threads By Dee from Annandale, VA on 03/26/2009 Cons: Pulled threads, Too Thin Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These towels are thinner than the ones I have had for 12 years. I thought Egyptian cotton was suppose to be thick and luxurious. I am very disappointed. Additionally after one washing, there were numerous thread pulls. I will be returning them.

By trinarina from roanoke, VA on 02/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchase these to replace the towels in our family's main bath. The kids have commented on how soft they are, I guess that's the Egyptian cotton? The linen color is a little darker than in the picture but a pleasing light brown color which is what I wanted. They are definitely not as thick as some other high end towels, but those are sometimes those are almost too thick. These are perfect. I wish they were about 2" wider. Very pleased, and glad I bought a bunch.

By Online addict from Hudson Valley, NY on 02/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was expecting a soft, plush, thick towel, but it is light and thin. Replacing my old "plush" towels! By delraybuzz from Delray Beach, FL on 02/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Easy to store, Elegant appearance, Good absorbtion Best Uses: At The Sink, Gym bag, Large Bathroom, Small Bathroom Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These hand towels are replacing most of my old "plush" hand towels since these are non-shedding! Although flatter, they absorb beautifully, and take less washer/dryer room! I love Espalma Spa towels. For shower towels, I do NOT use laundry softener, and they give a nice "scrub dry" on arms, legs and back
