By Jack Point from Blacksburg, VA on 08/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tying looks consistent. Hook gapes appear to be slightly wide for length. Hooks look Japanese rather than Singaporean. My box help half a dozen each of red and copper in two sizes, half a dozen green, half a dozen black -- four sizes overall, perhaps #12-18 (by my visual guesstimate).

By Al the fisher. from Pasco, WA on 02/10/2009 Pros: Easy To Store, Good variety, Looks Realistic, Quality looks good Cons: Box hard to handle, Unknown use life Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These dry flies have a specific use in fly casting top water fishing. The flies look to have very good construction and consistency fly to fly. I have not used them much so cannot assess the long term durability. Many, but not all of the hooks seem to have the barbs pushed down (barbless) others have extended barbs. It is necessary to check all hooks if you are fishing in barbless waters whch is common for fly fishers to do. At the price, these are a excellent "buy".
