battery monitoring is faulty By The Chessman from Chicago on 10/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Assemble Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The instructions say that the battery should be fully charged in about 5 hours. After 5 and then many more hours the red LED continued to glow steadily (when at full charge the LED was to blink intermitently). I exchanged this one for another and voilà---still a continuous red LED, no matter how long it is charged. This problem combined with a serious warning on NOT OVERCHARGING combine to spook me from continued possession of this device.

By Laura V from Longmeadow, MA on 02/05/2009 Best Uses: Dog toy wo batteries Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really wanted this product to work. Unfortunately, after all the work to program it, it didn't "compare" the meds programmed. It merely tells you what meds should not be taken, etc. Example: do not take this if you are taking an MAO inhibitor...well I didn't program an MAO inhibitor...so long story short, the pharmacist is better and the advice is free.
By Hard Worker from Hope, KS on 02/04/2009 Cons: Difficult To Use, Not Functional, Poor Value Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The compass is true to north and south, but completley undependable for east and west. I have re-calibrated the compass almost daily, but have not had better results.
By Cherrycoke from Ann Arbor, MI on 02/03/2009 Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Road Trips, Winter Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The flashlights are cheap and two of the batteries didn't work. Not very high end items. I kept some and replaced others, added handwarmers and a heavy blanket for winter emergencies. I do like the case and the AM/FM radio is a nice touch.
