By [...] from South Australia AUSTRALIA on 08/23/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Long Run Time Cons: No modes of output, Not water resistant, Poor Light Output Best Uses: Campgrounds, Emergencies, Home blackouts etc Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for Home purposes such as Emergency Lighting, close up night work and car camping. Excellent long output with batteries but not really bright. Is just me but when I recharge via the car adaptor, do both the charge and full leds light up together?I can't recharge via the car adaptor under these circumstances. Is this consistent with other users of this lamp?I get better output from my headlight with various modes.Hence the lower rating for this product.

By Sustainable Sue from Seattle, WA on 08/18/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great little flashlight with an exceedingly bright beam. I love it for camping! Beware though that this flashlight, and every other one like it on the market, sucks down batteries like crazy.

Since it operates with LED there is no heat or toxic fumes generated. 60 hour burn time on AA batteries, or crank for battery free useage.
By staid from Northern CA on 08/16/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Amazing progress in the development of personal hand lights. Our younger children use them in the tents for reading, and two older children found them unexpectedly essential during summer travels in Japan and Africa. I was initially hesitant as I like to simplify my battery sizes ( generally AA), but these have won me over to their single AAA size.
By Lanabanana from Vermont on 08/15/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these to wear to the garden on dewy mornings or to work on a rainy day. They are very cute. I got the blue. I am normally a 7.5 and I ordered the 7. They just barely fit. I was afraid the 8 would feel too big, though.
By Linda from CT from New Haven on 08/12/2009 Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I take a 7 shoe except I take a 6-6.5 in flip flops. These garden clogs in size 7 were a half size too big, even with socks. I bought a size 6 and although I'm wearing them, they are a little too small.
By Frequent Buyer in Santa Fe from Santa Fe, NM on 08/11/2009 Best Uses: Car Camping, Home security Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice size, feels very sturdy and durable. Bright light (not as powerful as some much more expensive tactical flashlights -- but sufficient for home use in conjunction with a handgun, I think.) An addition to my home security arsenal; useful too as a bashing weapon if needed, with the crenellated bezel on the front of the flashlight.
