Sherpa Adventure Gear

Sherpa Adventure Gear

Sherpa Adventure Gear is tested and endorsed by the finest high-altitude climbers on the planet, the Sherpas of Nepal. "Sherpa" is in fact a specific clan name for the hardy mountain people made famous for guiding Western climbers to the top of Mt. Everest. The founder of Sherpa Adventure Gear – a nephew of one the Sherpas from the first successful Everest expedition – created the company to honor the unsung heroes of Himalayan feats. His company also gives back to his people. Sherpa Adventure Gear has rapidly gained international recognition with distribution in North America, Asia and Europe. Look to them for apparel and sleeping bags for alpine adventurers.

Ordered and extra-large and felt like a medium! Doesn't stretch at all so I had to return in. Nice materials and good style (short waisted) but really WAY too small! I almost feel like the wrong size tag was put on the jacket I received it was SO small.

So far, I really like these pants. And they have kept me warm. I have hiked in 40 degree windy weather and they were comfortable and warm. The company needs to re-size these pants. I normally wear a Medium and ordered a size up because of the comments I read on your website--that the the size was off.I just fit into Large. And would probably have tried the next size up if I were trying them on in a store.

I bought this product for mountaineering for lightweight warmth. WoW is this jacket warm. Being 5'1 and 105lbs I have a hard time finding jackets that keep me warm and fit right this one was right on in size and quality. The red material is slightly see thru but it adds to the character. Fantastic deal!

Comments:
I love the 4-way stretch and slim fit. Construction and materials are 1st rate. If I had to nitpick I would eliminate the velcro straps at the wrists as they impede when worn as a base layer, but that is a very minor. All in all a great product at a great price.

Sherpa Adventure Gear Nisha Jacket - Soft Shell, Hood (For Women)

Good mild season softshell
By breeze-way from Montana on 12/09/2008

Describe Yourself:
Frequent Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:

Comments:
The jacket was OK, but I hoped it was a little more than a light fitted number. Really wanted a softshell hoody, but there isn't much room for more than a light fleece under it, and I got the largest size. Good looking piece, but more style than functional practicality for what I had in mind for it. I'll keep looking here, cause the right jacket will show up. Count on Sierra Trading Post for variety! Thanks

Comments:
I tried base layer after base layer and they all claim the same thing. This base layer is true to base layering, I am so comfortable in the cold, it transfers heat and wicks moisture very well. I can break a sweat skiing down and chill on the chairlift back up, but this shirt balances out the extremes. I am getting many more of these terrific shirts.
