By Wednesday from Seattle, WA on 12/28/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered and extra-large and felt like a medium! Doesn't stretch at all so I had to return in. Nice materials and good style (short waisted) but really WAY too small! I almost feel like the wrong size tag was put on the jacket I received it was SO small.
By Day Hiker from Durham NC on 12/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, I really like these pants. And they
have kept me warm. I have hiked in 40 degree windy weather and they were comfortable and warm.
The company needs to re-size these pants. I normally wear a Medium and ordered a size up
because of the comments I read on your website--that the the size was off.I just fit into Large.
And would probably have tried the next size up if
I were trying them on in a store.

By Teri mountaineer girl from evergreen, colorado on 12/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this product for mountaineering for lightweight warmth. WoW is this jacket warm. Being 5'1 and 105lbs I have a hard time finding jackets that keep me warm and fit right this one was right on in size and quality. The red material is slightly see thru but it adds to the character. Fantastic deal!
By Old and Bold from Covina, Ca on 12/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the 4-way stretch and slim fit. Construction and materials are 1st rate. If I had to nitpick I would eliminate the velcro straps at the wrists as they impede when worn as a base layer, but that is a very minor. All in all a great product at a great price.
Good mild season softshell By breeze-way from Montana on 12/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket was OK, but I hoped it was a little more than a light fitted number. Really wanted a softshell hoody, but there isn't much room for
more than a light fleece under it, and I got the largest size. Good looking piece, but
more style than functional practicality for what
I had in mind for it. I'll keep looking here,
cause the right jacket will show up. Count on Sierra Trading Post for variety! Thanks

By zeb the skier from Beautiful Vermont on 12/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Anytime, Cold Weather, Competition Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried base layer after base layer and they all claim the same thing. This base layer is true to base layering, I am so comfortable in the cold, it transfers heat and wicks moisture very well. I can break a sweat skiing down and chill on the chairlift back up, but this shirt balances out the extremes. I am getting many more of these terrific shirts.
