Korkers

Korkers

The first Korkers fishing footwear was created using scrap rubber, nylon cord and carbide spikes more than 50 years ago in a small basement workshop. Shortly thereafter, Korkers "River Cleats" were born and this highly functional wading sole system soon became a favorite among local fishermen. Korkers wading boots eventually joined the mainstream market to provide traction and safety to not only wading boots for fishermen, but to footwear for industrial applications. Today, Korkers has taken its versatile wading boots to the next level, creating innovations like OmniTrax V2 interchangeable sole technology. From the river to the trail, Korkers has the wading boots you need to stay safer and focused, whether casting a dry fly or working in the water.

Comments:
Needs an extra lace eye at the top, only one doesn't get the laces tight. But laces stayed tight once I got them pulled up. Very comfortable and felt good in the river.

I fish for trout and bass in rivers and streams and am very active. These waders worked great. The replacable soles are seated very tight and should not come out. I plan to purchace the rubber with spikes soon as well. Great product for the money.

I bought these for my daughter who loves to fish and hike. She can do both with these shoes. They have 2 sets of interchangeable grips for the bottom of the shoe- one felt, for fishing etc. and one tough rubber sole for hiking. The shoes dry quick so you can do both in the same day!

For the money - everything you could expect. I have a feeling they will wear out rather quickly but for the money I spent, that would be OK. (And maybe they won´t!)

Comments:
This is my first pair of wading boots. I do field surveys in and around streams and need to go in and out of water. These worked great for hiking into the streams and doing my work. The boots were a little snug when first put on with my waders but, after walking around a little and then getting them wet, I felt like I had slippers on they were so comfortable.

The rubber sole on these boots is great for walking/wading on rocks in winter. My felt wader boots were useless in the snow.
