I Have no complaints about the boots.
By Tony from Camp Atlas/Phoenix, Kabul, Afghanistan on 06/30/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday, Heavy Loads, Long-Distance Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing this boot since 1994 and it is a very good boot. The pair you sent me had some rust/mold on them but I am safisfied with my purchase. Our unit got this same boot (YATNA) in tan, if you got the same boot in tan you would sell all of them quickly and more than likely to the military. In fact if you could carry Meindl desert boots you woul sell them quickly as well.
Thank you, Tony

Warm, Dry feet - wide at heel By GlacierGirl from Zurich, Switzerland on 06/23/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold Weather, Harsh Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used these boots on a glacier hike, and my feet were warm and dry. Very easy to use with crampons, and lots of ankle support. On the ascent, my heel was lifting, probably due to my narrow feet, leading to some friction. There is also some break-in time required. Might be worth sizing down a half size if you have narrow feet.
