They have great traction on rocky and moss covered rock bottom.
I would caution that they do tear up the boards on the bottom of the boat and if you don't want scratching or digging marks they are not for you!
If you can put down a sheet of 1/4" plywood to protect the floor then they are great. Sure footedness and no slipping at all.

They should be good for the angler that logs under 25 days a year. I have only worn them once so far so I can't be too critical.
