By Ratchet from Olympia, WA on 04/12/2008 Pros: Attach Securely, Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: All Terrain, Deep Snow, Flat Terrain, Icy Conditions, Rolling Terrain, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used these the first week I purchased them on two outings at Mt. Rainier (one steep up and down, the other rolling hills) in deep snow with a good 8 inches of fresh powder and could not have been happier. They looked so small I wondered if they would keep me afloat, but they exceeded my expectations. Light, compact and stay put without adjustments. Highly recommend.
By Nancy from Tigard, OR on 04/08/2008 Pros: Attach Securely, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: All Terrain, Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved these snowshoes. They are fairly easy to put on. I didn't get to try them out in deep snow, but they worked well on a light layer of powder over crusty old snow. It was very easy to walk straight up a steep slope with the snowshoe's crampons. It was a little more scary to walk down a steep slope, but I am inexperienced. I don't have especially small feet for a woman, but had to cinch the toe straps all the way down -- couldn't go any tighter. The other straps were easy to cinch down and held my boot in place well.

Our home borders a field and woods beyond. It is great to come home from work and snowshoe out the back door and enjoy natures beauty!
By green mountain girl from Vermont on 04/01/2008 Pros: Attach Securely, Easy Entry & Exit, Easy to use Best Uses: All Terrain, Deep Snow, Flat Terrain, Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable easy to use all-around snow shoe. I use mostly on rough terrain in the woods. So far, they've taken me everywhere. I have not tried them on a long hike (all-day or overnight, for example), so don't know how they would be for that. Bindings are easy to use. Excellent for the price and for my needs.
By sorry from Wisconsin on 03/31/2008 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Effective Best Uses: Icy Conditions, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Disappointing results. Sank deep into the snow.
Red Feather snow shoes need bindings! By Walter from Enterprise, OR on 03/26/2008 Cons: Fall Off Easily, Not Effective Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bindings need replacing. They do not stay tight, they slip around on the boot, and the shoe slides sideways from beneath the foot. I had to readjust the bindings three times walking less than a mile on flat ground.
