So, you can take my review for what it is worth.
I have nothing to compare my snow shoes to but
they are easy for me to use and I enjoy this
activity very much.

By Fellers from CNY on 02/02/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Do yourself a favor and spend more money on your shoes. The binding system on these sucks bad.
They are a pain to get on right. They tails swing no matter how tight they are. I use them for hunting. One day I took them right off and picked them up on my way out. It was easier to post hole than fight these to two pieces of junk.

Great snowshoes for a great price By Active woman from Vermont on 01/31/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Flat Terrain, Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these snowshoes to give the sport a try. I can walk and run comfortably in these with a normal gait (no Frankenstein walk). The quick-release heel strap is handy for ease in removing them. The adjustment straps have loosened a couple times, but if the binding clip is layed flat, the straps stay secured. I can adjust the straps without removing my gloves. I've tried these on packed trails, off-trail in deep snow in the woods and on an icy hill climb. They worked great in all conditions; the crampons bit into the ice and I felt totally stable and secure. Oh, and you can't beat the price on this site!!
Better than my previous snowshoes By Savagemojo from Denver, CO on 01/28/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Lightweight Best Uses: Flat Terrain, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had two prior pairs of snowshoes. Atlas and a pair of Yakimas(I don't think these are made anymore). I have a problems with the tails of the snowshoes catching each other. These Redfeathers have made that problem go away. Plus they are definitely lighter than my previous ones. I used to do some backcountry hikes in deeper snow but haven't done so in these. With the slimmer profile, I'm not sure yet how well they will perform in that environment.
By Sun Girl from Saratoga Springs, NY on 01/27/2009 Pros: Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Flat Terrain, Groomed Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these snowshoes are great ! I used them on packed trails and they allow a natural stride. I don't think they would be good for deep/fresh snow. The straps did loosen up a bit and I had to stop and tighten them a few times. Great product. Great price !
