By hiker Kit from Upstate, NY on 08/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Trail running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took on a 2 mi run right out of the box. Comfortable, cushioning seems good. I have a narrow heel and the back slips a tiny bit when I first tried them on but I didn't notice it running. They feel stable and comfortable. My toes rub a little on the right side but will just have to tape in advance for longer treks. I will be using these for trail and occasionally road running, possibly on short hikes although I prefer boots with more ankle support for the backcountry. I have the grey with almost neon green color. It stands out but I don't feel it is overly gaudy for a shoe and looks good with pants but not shorts so much since I have big feet. Overall great deal on a well-designed shoe.
