It's Town & Country For Sure By JP from Red Bank, NJ on 04/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Good town coat, Not a hunting coat Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For general wear and use I think this coat is stylish and represents fair value. The zipper is tiny for the coat, but does work smoothly. For normal conditions with layers it should be fine, but this is a moderate wx coat. It would not stand up to rough outdoor wear. Best description from my wife: "It is very COUNTY. Let's take the Range Rover!"

By Minnesota Bound from MN on 01/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn these cross country skiing and snowshoeing and they have proved their mettle. Comfortable, warm, soft, stylish. I hate wearing "plastic" pants; these Hubertus pants have old world style.
My one complaint is that the sizing from crotch to waist is smaller than used to - which is odd for an active pants (e.g. they sit just perceptably low on the hips). Otherwise - I would have given this item five stars.
Having said that - I may buy another pair.

By Tom from Illinois on 11/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I first opened the package, I thought this would be a great jacket. It has a great fit and the material is soft, but the big problem with this jacket, like most made today, is the collar. The collar is not separate from the front zipper. It does fold down, but it leaves a space not covered near the throat, unless the collar is up. The collar on jackets should sit separately from the body of the jacket and fold up when needed, and down, out of the way ,when not needed. This one is not as bad as other jackets. I don't know why designers keep making jackets this way, but ,I would say 90% of jackets are designed this way now. It's too bad. This would have been a perfect jacket. If you don't mind that the front of the jacket zips all the way through the collar, then this is a great jacket. It would have received 5 stars, if the collar was designed the way I like.
I thought it might be like this from the picture, but I thought I would order it to get a close up look.
By outdoors lawyer from Davidson, NC on 11/11/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Value, High Quality Best Uses: Day hiking in wet cold, Hunting Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of those unusual finds that you occasionally get on STP. Austrian hunting pants that were warm, durable and waterproof. First used them elk hunting in Colorado, from still hunting to strenuous activity in very variable weather conditions. Performed really well.

By Ottery from Oregon on 03/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice looking, warm, dry, breathable. Good features. Good for town or country. Wouldn't want to mess it up tearing through brambles or other very tough use, but otherwise very good Northwest winter weather coat. I exchanged first coat for one size smaller: same sleeve length, but less bulky look and feel.
