A moderately thick wool, nice muted brown color and well sewn.
By Not my real name from Seattle on 04/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This a vest that is just what I wanted, but it may not be for everyone. It is quite warm, I find myself wearing it with just a shirt or wool short on cold drizzly Seattle days. The collar part is more substantial than most, and somehow bigger than it seems in the pictures. Lots of pockets. Greyed-out brown goes with lots of stuff.

It is not wool tweed as advertised however. For the price it's a good deal; warm, stylish, well made. For really cold weather you might want more of a jacket, this is comfortable down to at least 20 degrees F.

By jimbo from golden, CO on 02/20/2009 Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The coat is very good quality but the sleeves were 4 inches too long and the body was large, also. If there had been a small it would have been a good fit, but as it was I had to return it.
By jimbo from Golden, CO0 on 02/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sleeves about 4" too long and body is too large for a medium. A small, if available, would have fit nicely. I had to return, could not use at all.
