I normally just go with the Smartwool brand but when I saw these were specifically designed for mountain biking, I had to bite. ;-) Sarcasm aside, they're fine, but I'm unclear what makes them good for riding a bike in the mountains, or any other type of riding, for that matter. They may be designed or even sewn by the Swiss, but ultimately they're just socks. Maybe other types of Rohner socks showcase their unique qualities better but I've yet to find much special about these. I have other hiking socks, too, but they do not even come close. By the way, I am still using the pair that I bought 12 years ago.
