By GIS Joe from Albany, NY on 11/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seemed like a great boot; however, I was hoping I would fit into the 45's (I normally take a 46) in order to take advantage of the closeout price but they were too small. I ended up returning the X3's and ordering the Rossi X2's in a size 46. I really liked the zippered lace cover on the X3's and unfortunately that feature is not on the X2's.
By mountainbikeak from palmer, alaska on 11/16/2009 Pros: Glide Well, Lightweight, Lively Flex, Turns Easily Best Uses: Groomed Trails, Icy Conditions, Telemarking Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great ski at a great price. This ski carves very well on the groomers and does ok off piste. If you play at the resorts this is a fun one to have.
By alison nut from Utah on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Cons: Extremely pointy hood Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't worn this coat skiing or in wet weather yet. I am very small but have big shoulders. I got an xs and it fits perfect. My only complaint is the strange pointy hood which makes me look like a banana.
Not at stiff as I'd hoped By ryguy79 from Colorado Springs, CO on 11/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Look Cool, Warm Cons: Lacks Adjustability, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Coming from Rossi Course X boots, these didn't feel nearly as stiff as I'm used to. The first day that I skied them I felt like I was completely overpowering the boots, but after I got used to them they skied well. The boots are pretty warm and comfortable for alpine boots. They did seem to fit bigger than I expected. I originally ordered them in 27.5 as this was the same size as my previous Rossi boots, but they felt huge. I returned them for a pair in 26.5 and they fit well.

By dawn from Bend, OR on 10/27/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 9 (40) which is the size I ordered- couldn't even get my foot in! A great deal, but consider ordering a bigger size :)
Good Length, tight ankles By Gear Junkie from Colorado Springs, CO on 10/27/2009 Pros: Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction, Warm Best Uses: Cross country skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots were very tight on me in the ankles. They fit fine in the length and width. I'm not a thin, skinny person. I have a bulky, muscular body. I normally wear a size 12 in womens. I tried the mens BC X3 and that did the trick. Just a little more room in the ankles. I wear a 40 in my climbing shoes and I went with a 42 for these boots because they do run small besides the ankles.
