Initially we ordered a size too small. reordering was very easy and he is happy with the exchange. He loves his coat. while we haven't had the opportunity to test in extreme cold or conditions, we are assuming it is a great coat.

Nice boots, but too tiny to use. By Mike the photographer from Houghton, MI on 12/05/2007 Pros: Adjustability, Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction Cons: 44 is not size 10-46 is., Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super small, but too much room in heel even though my toes are crunched. By dan from great falls, MT on 11/09/2007 Pros: Durable, Good Carving Ability, Good Grip, Great Flotation, Lightweight, Smooth Ride, Very versital ski Cons: too much for a beginner Best Uses: All area, Downhill, Icy Conditions, Powder, Racing Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: perfect all-around ski. responds well in all conditions and terrain. i have skied on a pair of Z5s for two seasons now. sometimes there is fresh powder, sometimes it's crusted ice, and this ski has done well in all of it. i like to hit the advanced slopes and moguls pretty hard. and then i follow it with a relaxing glide down the easy trails. the Z5 does it all.
this ski is not for a beginner though, it seems perfect for an advanced skier or an intermediate looking to improve.
By Kyu from Milwaukee, WI on 10/31/2007 Best Uses: Downhill, Racing Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am not sure why this is listed as a beginner ski. Rossi calls it an advanced to expert ski for use at slightly lower speeds than the Z9. Anyway, it is a wonderful ski. I tried both the Z5 and the Z9 before buying these. I found they were a nice compromise and that the Z9's took a lot of effort to drive so taking a relaxing run was difficult while they were beautiful at full speed. I find the Z5's to be an excellent compromise. They are wonderful in the gates at full speed (I used to race competitively but now just do it for fun) but also respond when taking lazy turns down the long beginner runs. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a solid all mountain ski. I also think they are much too stiff for anyone below an advanced intermediate.
What an awesome pair of skis!!!
