By Silas in the NEK from The Northeast Kingdom, VT on 04/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Added these for a fatter underfoot ride. I also ski a 16 meter radius ski with 68mm waist which is quicker but hard work in fresh snow. The radius on these is 19 meter, not the 17M listed on the specs. I am 215#, ski hard, and patrol. These are better than my others for soft conditions and have a GS arc. Lean them over on edge and they will lock in and carve railroad tracks. Not bump skis but light enough to move through them easily. I am skiing these in a 184cm. Will hold stability at speed. All round mountain skis with good versatility. Excellent ski and value. Bought a pair, liked them, bought another for my 23 year old.

They added greatly to my ski control and kept my feet nice and warm.

A great jacket for skiing By Havin' a blast from Davis, CA on 03/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Lots of pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great, super warm, super waterproof, super practical jacket. The collar is a little stiff, but that's actually sort of nice for skiing and I think it might break down a bit with wear. It's a great length (not too short like some modern styles) and extremely practical. It's so warm that skiing in tahoe, I have on only a single thin long underwear layer and a very thin fleece long underwear, and I was a perfect temperature on the lifts (and a little warm at the bottom!)
By Hate to be cold from Kansas City on 03/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got back from really cold, windy 2 days in Snowmass, CO and this kept me really warm down the mountain and especially riding up the lifts. I was very pleased. Had lots of room for toting water, snacks, gloves as well. I have long arms and the sleeves were long enough. I'm 5'9" and ordered the M/L There are hidden cuffs that extend into my gloves which were great.
By jenski from Los Angeles, CA on 03/09/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Downhill skiing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the way this fits. I was worried about the size based on the other reviews but I found it to fit perfectly even though I am an 36B in the chest. I prefer a snug, fitted look that's both stylish on and off the slopes. Very pleased with this purchase. I plan to use on a ski trip to Sugarloaf soon. I imagine it will be warm enough.
By Tommy Telemark from Jackson, WY on 03/07/2009 Pros: Great Construction, Lightweight, Perfect to beginner Best Uses: backcountry, Telemarking Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This ski rocks for beginner to intermediate skiers.
Carves well, excellent in powder and holds a line.
My wife learned on these and now compares all others to it.
I agree with both reviews By Quackey Mcknuckles from New England on 03/06/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Look good, Right Price Best Uses: Backcountry Touring, Powder boards, Telemarking Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I agree with the two other reviews. I ordered these after receiving an additional coupon. I noticed the de-lamination problem after I mounted these with my 02's. The name should be a dead give-away at what these skis excel at. I've skied them in 12-18" in Utah and some tight and deep trees in VT, and think they handle this type of snow well. They are not the quickest skis, and don't snap out of turns like stiffer skis do, but they are not designed to. I am interested to see how well they handle spring corn. Overall I like the ski, but would not buy them if I was to own only one pair of telemark skis. We'll see how well they hold up. Fortunately, Sierra Trading Post respects their customers and stands by the products they sell.
By SB from North carolina on 03/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, I thought they would be, Lightweight, Stylish, They are not as thick as, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I expected them to be a bit thicker, but they are perfect for NC. For colder climates they may be thin.
