Works well, but hardware is heavy By Doglady from Cuyahoga Falls OH on 11/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-Time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm using this coupler when I hike with my two large dogs - 60 and 75#. The hardware is heavy enough to handle their strength, but seems too heavy relative to the lightweight shock cord. I checked both the product tags and manufacturer's web site for a weight limit, and couldn't find any, so I decided to keep it but I'm watching for signs of premature wear. The design does prevent most tangles, and each dog has a bit of room to sniff without the other, but you do have to watch to make sure they don't start to tangle. It is well made, as is true with all the Ruffwear products I've purchased. If you've never walked dogs on a coupler, this is a good one to try. Not all dogs will handle it.

Excellent quality collars (I bought two) By journey from Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island, Canada on 10/06/2009 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Easy To Attach, Good Length Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Since we have just received these collars I cannot
comment on durability, uses etc. We have two small dogs, a Jack Russel, 15 lbs. and a Schnauzer
20 lbs and the small size fits both very nicely.
They are very attractive collars and appear to be
even more durable than the collars they have been
wearing for three years.
