Ryka

Ryka

In the late 80's women's athletic shoes were mostly scaled down versions of men's styles. Ryka founder Sheri Poe was frustrated by the lack of athletic footwear designed to meet the needs of women. So she did what any frustrated woman with an entrepreneurial spirit would do – she started her own company to meet the need. All Ryka shoes are molded to the shape of woman's foot. Narrow heels prevent foot slippage and blisters, while the wider forefoot gives toes room to move and flex. Ryka supports women's fitness with more than just comfortable, wel-fitted footwear. Ryka is a proud supporter of the women's fitness community, sponsoring walks, runs and fitness events for women every year. Feel the difference with a pair of Ryka fitness shoes – inspired by women, built just for women.

Cool looking shoes. Not a lot of support - would not recommend for sports, but they are very nice looking and fun to bum around in! Based on other reviews, I did order a half size up from my regular shoe size and am glad I did.

A great all around comfort shoe that I can wear in the gym or as a stylish casual shoe. Love the details on the side, as they make it more than just a white gym or running shoe.

These shoes felt great right out of the box. I've worn Ryka shoes for my workouts for years. It's nice to know they make shoes for casual wear also.

I bought 1 half size larger than I wear in dress shoes and they fit beautifully! I have tried all different brands of sneakers, including Reebok, Asics, New Balance - these fit and feel the best!

I put these shoes on and didn't lace them up and wore them for awhile to break them in. No problems, even after lacing. This is a great looking shoe as well as comfortable.

These shoes and the lower cost model are fantastic. I wish I could buy more. I have been a runner and walker for years and they are so comfortable and stable. I have a narrow heel and they are great. I typically like my running shoes a little larger and ordered a size 9 (my regular shoe size is an 8) and that is a good size for me.

These are a very comfortable shoe. I can only run a couple times a week due to injuries, but these shoes feel great - even without orthotics. They do run 1/2 size small as indicated by other shoppers.

These are about the only shoes I have found that don't give me shin splints or foot pain when I run. I was fitted for a pair of shoes at a local running store and still had foot pain running in them. I have found that I don't get quite as many miles out of these as is recommended for running shoes, but at 1/3 the price, who cares!
