Ryka

Ryka

In the late 80's women's athletic shoes were mostly scaled down versions of men's styles. Ryka founder Sheri Poe was frustrated by the lack of athletic footwear designed to meet the needs of women. So she did what any frustrated woman with an entrepreneurial spirit would do – she started her own company to meet the need. All Ryka shoes are molded to the shape of woman's foot. Narrow heels prevent foot slippage and blisters, while the wider forefoot gives toes room to move and flex. Ryka supports women's fitness with more than just comfortable, wel-fitted footwear. Ryka is a proud supporter of the women's fitness community, sponsoring walks, runs and fitness events for women every year. Feel the difference with a pair of Ryka fitness shoes – inspired by women, built just for women.

Comments:
I've only had these long enough to use them on ellipticals, spinning cycles, and in the weight room. Ahhh -- how did they get them to be that light and that cushy on your feet at the same time? Nothing but good things to say about these so far.

Comments:
I love the look of the shoe and the heel support and cushioning is great, but the toe box is quite narrow. I have high arches and mild bunion deformity,so pressure across the ball of my foot can cause bursitis in my big toe joint. I was dissapointed. I really wanted to love these shoes. My Asics fit better, I just had to add different insoles.

I wear them everyday to work since I stand and walk a lot. I have plantar fascitis and these shoes give me a lot of support. My feet are comfortable for my whole shift the majority of the time.
