By I Love a Bargain from Portland, OR on 02/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Warm Cons: Bulky, Heavy, Not lined Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lovely coat, but not lined. I was really looking for something that was easy on and easy off. With the sleeves unlined, my sweater ... or whatever I was wearing underneath makes it difficult to put on, as the unlined wool gets hung up on my clothing.I had to send it back, but wish it had worked out.
By Big Al from Williston, VT on 02/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You said it ran large and it does. I was surprised it wasn't lined, but that really isn't a big problem, though I think you should put that in the write-up. Every seam is beautifully bound!!!! That's rare! It screams "quality!"
The sleeves are long, but easy to remedy. That feature could be just right for a taller person.

I ordered a larger size as was instructed and it is plenty large.

It can get really cold here in winter. This is a warm coat.

By Keekee from Illinois on 11/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat has great style and oversized but has no lining in it. For the price, it was a disappointment to me.
By Rakhi's mom from Kirkland, Washington on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think I'll like this coat. I got the blue and its a nice color though not as bright as in the photo. Like others said, it is a shame the designers didn't do something to better close the top (neck). It looks floppy and unfinished, a little sloppy. The coat is lightweight, like, to me, a good tightly woven sweater. Have not worn it outside yet but it felt very warm when I tried it on twice inside. It should be perfect for mild Puget Sound winters. And, yes, I ordered down one size and it is plenty large. I don't notice the discrepancy between chest/shoulder size and hip size like someone else noted. In all, it is a nice shape.
By AR from Bel Air, MD on 05/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The wool is soft and smooth, it doesn't itch at all. I like the color. It's a great everyday coat. It doesn't have a zipper, but that doesn't bother me since I mostly leave it open anyway. I am very pleased with this coat.
By Eco-Nic from Syracuse, NY on 05/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Warm Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat appears stylish but it isn't made with the best construction. There is a snap inside the flap that does not stay put. The hood is nice because it lies flat when down, unlike the traditional duffle that has a very bulky hood. I would also prefer it if it were lined.
