By AR from Bel Air, MD on 05/17/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The wool is soft and smooth, it doesn't itch at all. I like the color. It's a great everyday coat. It doesn't have a zipper, but that doesn't bother me since I mostly leave it open anyway. I am very pleased with this coat.
By Eco-Nic from Syracuse, NY on 05/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Warm Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat appears stylish but it isn't made with the best construction. There is a snap inside the flap that does not stay put. The hood is nice because it lies flat when down, unlike the traditional duffle that has a very bulky hood. I would also prefer it if it were lined.
By Nan from Brooklyn, NY on 03/27/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the color and the make, but was disappointed it had no lining, but i am going to keep it...
By Cathy from Missouri on 03/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Oversized, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Eclectic Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried the other duffle coats and decided that this was the best and a good bargain. it is a bit oversized, but I like the roominess of it -- a sweater or suit coat fits well under it. The Gloveralls I tried (and I already own two of them) were a tight fit, but beautifully made. I wanted a color other than black, though.
By NL from Boston, MA on 03/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Great fit for me, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Career, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat is tailored for someone who is long limbed with slim hips. The fabric is high quality as is the stitching. With layering you can use it for a broad range of temperatures, just as I have with my previous toggle coats.
By craphaulerswife from NW Pennsylvania on 01/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beware! This has no lining and no zipper. For those of us who live in the Lake Erie snow belt it is more a jacket than a coat, definitely not warm enough for high winds with snow. Fabric is very nice, however.
Excellent quality, perfect fit. By MaggieOhio from Columbus, Ohio on 01/13/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Beautiful red shade, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Not too heavy but warm, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel, Very versatile Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, I cannot find a single negative. I see that one previous comment said that the sleeves are too long. For me, they are perfect. My Gloverall (still beautiful after 12 yrs) has short sleeves but these are just right.

By Connibar from Virginia on 12/30/2007 Pros: Classic style, Durable, Generous cut, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect for "layered" dressing. Generous cut without appearing sloppy. Fits over bulky sweaters without binding. Good shoulder line.
Good duffle for the price By MJRICO from Conroe, TX on 12/24/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Good for above 32F temps, Lightweight, Versatile Cons: No double wool cloth Best Uses: Bad Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this based on other recommendations because I got the Gloverall one before and it was heavy, I noticed that according to the description this one was not as heavy as the Gloverall so it is perfect for above freezing temperatures like the ones we have in TX but is still the same cut and versatility. So now I use the heavy one when is really cold and the other when is not as cold. So for me is perfect and the quality is still very good.
