I like that it is a classic style with a slight twist, so it's not boring. Very cute!
By stpfan from Ithaca, NY on 10/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am glad I read the reviews about fit, so that I purchased a large. My normal size (8 or medium) would have been 'way too small. The single button hole was stretched out a bit, but I liked the sweater anyway, so I kept it. A couple stitches should take care of the problem. Worth the price.
By stpfan from Ithaca, NY on 10/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Cute sweater, just not for my body type/age. Probably most flattering on a young, thin woman with a small bust. I love the bell sleeves and the subtle shimmer!
By kara from NC on 10/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a small and was worried about the fit. I wear a 4 or 6 and this dress is perfect. Order a size larger if you have a large bust. The bust is snug. If the dress were 2 inches shorter it would be perfect.
This dress looks good in any dressy casual situation. I'm definitely taking it on my vacation.
By SkiGrrl from SaintPaul, MN on 10/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Flattering, High Quality Material, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Chest Size: Feels too small Neck Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Band is too tight around rib cage and does not stretch. Would try a size larger as it is quite pretty.
By Teri from Sacramento, CA on 10/07/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Top too big, Waist too high Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Waist elastic made the skirt stick out super wide and didn't look flattering at all. Top overly large
By wahootn from Nashville, TN on 10/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a shame that the rear view of this dress isn't shown... the wrap bodice in front also wraps in the back, making for nothing to hold the shoulders up on this dress! If you have LONG,FULL hair you might be able to pin it... not something I was willing to mess with, since there was a random purple ink 'drip' on the dress I tried on and returned.
Too bad, cuz' it looks like a nice little vintage piece.
By VA mom from Scottsville, VA on 10/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ack! Acrylic, and a pilly, nubby one at that. I failed to notice the material when purchasing. It looks very poor quality.
Fun addition to fall wardrobe By Marie from Boulder, CO on 10/05/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Color, Versatile Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A fun design that jazzes up the classic fall skirt. Attractive cut. The tweed is not the highest quality wool around, but the garment is fairly well made overall. The skirt is true to size. One odd thing is that whereas the skirt is flared, the separate lining is cut very straight. If you bought a flared skirt because it would be more forgiving in the hips, you might be surprised by the tight lining!
