I figured shopping online for one couldn't be any worse than going to the store - I was wrong, it was better! This dress fit perfectly, and I received so many compliments. Buy, buy now!

By MrsBoo from Kalamazoo, MI on 12/26/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Went up a size from my normal 8 to a 10 and it fit perfectly -- skimmed away from my hips without fitting too tightly in the waist. It looks like a fabulous vintage find.
Cute but sleeves look like housecoat By Patent Attorney from Georgia on 12/22/2007 Describe Yourself: Stylish Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 4 dress without fail, but the 4 in this was too small and I had to go with a 6. Great material, but I was disappointed in the overall look that resulted from the "housecoat" sleeves, so I returned for a refund.
Cute but neckline gapes open By Patent Attorney from Georgia on 12/22/2007 Describe Yourself: Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the tunic in this same pattern & style, but for some reason the blouse fits differently - the neckline gapes open, small was too small, medium was too large - maybe it's the general sizing issue - the tunic comes sized to fit, i.e., 4, 6, 8, 10, etc., whereas the blouse only comes in medium or large. Sadly had to return for refund!

Beautiful, simple, affordable! By Elizabetta from Boston, MA on 12/21/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Stylish, unique Cons: Not stretchy anywhere, Smll busted fits better Best Uses: Daytime, Formal Events, Going Out, Office, Travel, Weddings warm weather Describe Yourself: Artistic, Classic style, Comfort-oriented, Sexy Length: Feels true to length Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful dress(es) and great price! I bought both the red and the black. I am medium blond and fair, pink skinned. The black looks stunning, but the red is a light red, with prominent orange.
I am a size 4 and this fits great, except my bust does not really fit in it. The band you see below the waist is fixed, it does not stretch or give. Unless I hoist the girls 'up' into the top, they are a bit below the high waist. I am a 34B/C. I would recommend it to smaller busted ladies or if you want a lot of cleavage...also, please note the decoration that criss-crosses the chest is fixed as well. There is some gapping when my chest is in the top "properly." Might have to throw a stitch in there, and/or wear a cami.
It has a small but adequate side zipper to help you get in and out of the dress.
I also have a curvy backside, and it is not fitted, but still a lovely a-line. I think the dress is cut to move well, but I may add two small darts right below the waist.
FYI, the dress is lined though the sleeves are not.
Nonetheless, really great print, especially the black! I will be keeping the black for sure! Another hit from Pura Vida.
