By cj from sw michigan on 10/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Regulates Temperature Well Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: feel great but seem a little small - more colors choices would be a plus
By sandman_max from Georgia on 10/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these socks all the time. Thorlo is a great brand and lasts forever. The best part is the toe seam is across the top of your toes, so there are no nubs or seams to rub against your foot when walking. And CoolMax is comfortable all year in Georgia when it can be freezing the morning and 60 in the afternoon.
Nice but heavier than expected By World Traveler from Brooklyn, NY on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cushy, Durable, Good Design Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really nice soft sock and very well cushioned, they will be great for hiking. However, because they were called "Ultra Light" and CoolMax I expect something much thinner, along the line of Wrightsox (which I love, but Sierra never seems to carry.) When we travel to really hot climates I like a thinner lightweight sock. I will keep them though.
as expected, maybe better. By Jo from Taos NM on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is for added warmth in the cool seasons.
perfect for wearing with hiking shoes By Dee from Muskegon, MI on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking, Running Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These socks were just what I was looking for: a pair of ankle high socks to wear with my hiking shoes in the summer time. I was wearing running socks but they were bright white and and not as wicking. I like the wool content, and they are not too thick or too thin. Plus, these were half the price for what I would have paid for that other brand in a retail store.
