They seemed like an 8 1/2 instead. I checked the size inside the boot and it did say 6 1/2 but I don't think they were. They were very cute and I hated to send them back!

Out-of-the-box comfortable even with steel toe. Sole design is smoother than on many work boots, so may not be ideal for those desiring a lot of traction, but works well for my uses.
