Georgia Boot

For over 60 years, Ohio-based Georgia Boot has been making rugged leather work boots for men and women who work heavy machinery, construction sites and logging camps. Work boots from Georgia Boot have all the practical features needed for the rigors of a jobsite, like Comfort Core® Insole Technology for shock absorption, lug soles for traction and durable leather construction for a long life. Many Georgia work boots also have steel toes and shanks for foot protection, and Georgia Boot also makes footwear with waterproof Gore-Tex® membranes and Thinsulate® insulation to fight the elements. Besides work boot styles, Georgia Boot also designs boots for hunting, fishing, and farm or ranch work. Whether you’re looking for the Logger boot for running a saw in the Pacific Northwest or the slip-on Wellington boot for the ranch, Georgia Boot is your brand.

Nice shoe, but a little stiff, requiring a bit of break-in. They don't chaff your feet, but my feet began to ache after a while. Very good looking shoe though.

These shoes feel very heavy, save your money and buy Ecco or Mephisto. I will recommend this product only if you want to have sore feet at the end of the day. Very dissapointed, I wish I could send them back!!!!!

Very nice. Georgia quality at its best. Boot toughness, sneaker feel. They are really comfortable and the leather dries very quickly. Good siped rubber sole too, I just wish the tread was a little more agressive.

A True Wellington Fit Closed Out-Get It
By LuckyVerified Reviewer from South Portland, Maine on 10/12/2007
Pros:
BestWithWoolSocks, Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
CottonSocks=Sweat
Best Uses:
12 Hours On Feet, Cold Climate, Warm Climate
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Extremely comfortable, lightweight, lined boot with maximum instep control, great heel-strike and generous moc-toebox. If the Wellington is your boot choice, you will be pleasantly surprised. The 7 inch height is just high enough for a good fit and doesn't twist your socks on the walk. Manufacture date is 2005, so you want to wear them in dry conditions for a couple of days while the waxes come back through the leather before you get them wet. I almost bought them through the manufacturer when they sold for [$], but then they were discontinued, and now Sierra has them for a fraction of the price. Good Deal.
