By ghost from berkeley on 07/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I live in Berkeley where it is foggy, windy , cool and at times rainy. I like to be able to wear a vest underneath so I ordered a larger size to make sure it was possible.. and glad I did.
Wisely cut and the attention to construction detail is impeccable..the best part is the fabric is matte & silent --not crinkely and shiney.

Absolutely no amount of rain will penetrate this coat. My only complaint is that it is a little too short in the front. Besides that, this is one amazing deal.

comfortable and well-made By Metallurgist from Northern NJ on 03/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits well and (I'm told) looks good. The polyester-backed Gore-Tex is soft and very comfortable and doesn't make noise like nylon. Let's see if it's durable. Sprayway makes it in China (surprise!) but the designer is British, so the zipper is backwards (but not the snaps) and it takes getting used to. Adding to the irritation is that it has a double zipper, and I hate that, but otherwise I'm more than pleased with the jacket.
