Have purchase three pairs so far! By Glissade2 from Norwich, Vermont on 02/02/2009 Pros: Easy Lacing System, Good Traction, Quality Construction, Supportive, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Rough trail Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have purchased a pair for all three teen children and have had rave reviews. We ski primarily on ungroomed cross country ski trails in hill Vermont and find them supportive and light weight.

Nice boot but may be too wide for women By Cross-country ski enthusiast from Rochester, NY on 01/27/2009 Pros: Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return them because they were a bit too short. The next size is too wide in the heel, but I need the wide toe. These are considerably wider than the women's boots I tried on. Very warm.
By Big Doc from Idaho on 01/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ridiculously small, catalog says 14 to 14.5 equivalent feels more like 12
By Julie from Rochester, NY on 01/26/2009 Cons: Poor Construction, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The front box of the bed bends at the top of the toes and pinches them. poor design..
By Uncle Duck from Portage Lakes. OH on 01/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There is enough room in the toe box for my toes to wiggle (and warm blood can circulate), but the collar is nice and snug. They look more like hiking boots and are comfortable enough to go tromping through the backyard to refill the bird feeders. They are not sleek enough for serious competition, but they are perfect for encouraging me to get outside and ski even if the snow conditions are not optimal. GREAT DEAL!!!
Not worth buying or wearing By Amy from Kansas on 01/23/2009 Cons: Fell apart the first time, Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Poor Traction, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not useful. Would not recommend to anybody. Not enough ankel support or ways to adjust. Seams started to come undone the first time that I wore these. I was very disappointed. I coulnd't even give them away. Too much like a hiking boot rather than a x-country boot.
By Red75 from Northern Vermont on 01/21/2009 Pros: Adjustability, Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Good Traction, Look Cool, Quality Construction, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have had the boots for a week. I realize this isn't a test of time review. So far, so good. They are rugged and warm and my son loves them. He does some rough skiing and they have been very reliable and dry. They are light weight and look like they would be as easy to hike in as they are to ski in. Hopefully they will stand the test of time and use! Thanks, Sierra, for offering such a great product at such a great price!
Good product but takes work By Ranch Skier from Western Slope, Colorado on 01/21/2009 Pros: Adjustability, Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Warm Cons: Sole won't fit bindings Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very good product warmth and comfort-wise. However, the sole is too wide for standard 3-pin bindings and has to be ground down. Will have to see if this affects long term viability of the sole.
