Too Wide for Most Bindings By Zoltar from Albany, NY on 11/07/2008 Cons: Difficult Lacing System, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This ski boot feels true to length, a little wide, and there is a lot of extra room vertically in the boot. Despite being a higher cut, there is plenty of flex in the ankle and in the tread. I will be looking for a stiffer boot that provides more support and a tighter fit. (there is a lot of extra room in this boot)

By Crash from Wichita, KS on 03/08/2008 Cons: Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Best Uses: shoveling the driveway Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first 3 days out at Snow Mountain Ranch in CO, there was wear and tear already as some of the threads on both boots started coming loose. I'm one to keep shoes and boots for years so this was not from my abuse. A friend had the same thing happen on the same boot. They are now collecting dust in the closet as I couldn't return them to the place I bought them from. Buy a well known name brand such as Salamon or Rossingnol. They were sloppy feelign and left me with no control. i have wide feet but these were much larger than I needed. I finally have a good pair and that can make a HUGE difference in control, comfort and fun. I will say these boots were at least warm, but don't get wet.
By waggintails from Menomonie, WI on 03/08/2008 Pros: Adjustability, Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Good Traction, Warm Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the boots, very comfortable...however after my 3rd time out, the toe split open above the binding. Huge disappointment, as I had to return them and there were no more my size to replace with.
By JimB from New Jersey on 02/28/2008 Cons: Difficult Lacing System, Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My shoe size (in most shoes) is 46 (11.5 - 12). I got a 46 in these boots and it was too large, even with thick socks. The sole was too flexible, and didn't keep the foot on the ski as it should. All of this was easier to take than the lacing system. It was hard to lace up, hurt around the ankles, and was not effective. It might improve with time, but I doubt it. Not good.
By jeaniebeanie74 from beautiful columbia river gorge on 01/17/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this boot for my husband. He has wide feet so it fit fine in that dept, but it offered ZERO arch support. Overall, it offered very little support. The boot was too flexible & squishy for xc skiing. The materials in the ankle area were fluffy & thick but still didn't offer much support, and couldn't adjust the fit very well. I will send back for a refund.
By Al from SoDak on 01/07/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Well, these boots are warm and seem durable. But having said that, I think the soft rubber sole is a problem especially where the tab interlocks with the three pin binding. I could not easily and securely bind the boots to the skis while on the trail. They are just too cumbersome. The rubber of the toe tab does not slide easily into place, too much resistance to be sure the tab aligns directly with the three holes on the binding.
Great Boots For The Money! By Tye's Dad from southeastern Idaho on 01/03/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Value, High Quality Best Uses: Backcountry skiing, Cross-country skiing Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for my 16 yr. old son. He wore them this past weekend and really liked them. They were comfortable, kept his feet warm, and provided good support.
