It has a nice sheen and is very soft. I bought both the brown and black in 2XX as I wanted a medium-weight "jacket' garment to fit well over other clothes. It looks good over the simple tee shirts and jeans that I wear at the office. Nice enough to put a pretty pin on the lapel for "dress up".

I found the fit to be a bit more boxy than the picture would indicate. I usually wear a size 8 and the medium is roomy.

Wool - alpaca felt nice but I returned it within an hour as I could not use it- too short. It's an older classic style that seems to be making a comeback. Great fall colors.
