By Skimeup from Los Angeles on 10/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Looks as good as any MBT Best Uses: Everyday, Shopping, Sport, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: MBT is a unique shoe brand that is designed to address orthopedic problems. Due to an (over) active lifestyle, I have managed to become a walking orthopedic research project. I tried MBTs in desperation and they have helped my feet, knees, hip, and lower back. HOWEVER, they really need to be fitted in a shoe store by an expert in MBT. In that way, you can walk around with them, try them out, and return for a different size, again with expert fitting. After I did that, I have ordered several pairs from STP and they have worked great. This particular shoe has a tight toebox, but I have found that I can adapt the differences in fit of the MBTs to my feet by changing the socks I wear without any other problem.
By a daily walker from cincinnati on 10/22/2009 Best Uses: Everyday, Walking Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: MBT shoes are really unique in causing you to use muscles you don't ordinarily use to stabilize your body while walking. They may or may not burn more calories, but they definitely give you a better workout from walking.
By SusanMBTwearer from Seattle, Wa on 10/22/2009 Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are black shoes but were designed with a white tongue--its very odd looking when you're wearing them. I wish the photograph had made that clear. I still like the shoe, but for such an expensive shoe I shouldn't have to be figuring out how to dye the ugly white part.
Great deal on great shoes By Mike from NH from NH on 10/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Awesome shoes that really stretch my achilles and help recover from long runs/bikes. Only downside is that they do look a little wierd.
MBT for Plantar Fashiitis By Morning Moose from Palmdale, CA on 10/22/2009 Pros: Ankle Support, Arch Support, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Day Hiking, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small, Feels too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am using this product to walk again after being incapacitated from plantar fashiitis and then stress fractures to my heels. The MBTs allow me to relieve stress to the heels. And because they're MBTs, they force me to stand up straight and use those calves, thighs and gluts. I was a little sore the next day but its a good soreness. At the end of the day my left foot rubs at the ankle and the top of the left foot. But I don't think its the shoe's fault, it's just that my feet swell. So I take them off when the rubbing is too irritating. All in all they are a great shoe. I just wish Sierra Trading Post had more sizes. Actually these were the last hiking boot MBTs on the site. So I felt lucky to get them. Thank you Sierra Trading Post.

By Olivia from Colorado on 10/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Previous reviews indicated the shoes ran small, so I ordered a half-size bigger and they fit just fine.
By PNW Mom of 3 from PNW on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shoes! I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes stretch my calf muscles as I walk, which helps alleviate the p.f. They do run a bit small, though, order a half-size up. And be careful going down stairs - the first time was a surprise, since the front of the shoe is rounded; you feel like you're going to take a tumble.
