Saucony

Saucony is a global leader in supplying performance athletic footwear, casual footwear, apparel and accessories. The Saucony brands include Saucony, Saucony Originals, Hind, and Spot-Bilt. This innovative company designs and manufactures technically advanced products to improve the performance of active sports participants in all fields. Saucony evolved from the 1910 shoe store of Russian immigrant cobbler, Abraham Hyde in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Hyde’s first sport footwear products were ice skates, and during World War II the company produced boots for the Army. They produced footwear for NASA astronauts in the ‘60’s, and in 1968 they acquired the Saucony Shoe Company, a small running shoe company known but to a small group of serious runners. In 1998 they adopted the Saucony name for the entire company and continue to set the pace in innovative sports shoes and apparel.

Comments:
These shoes are comfortable but a bit stiff. I am a Brooks fan but like the cushioning of the Saucony. For the price, they're definitely worth it. One downer is the lacing system---top hole is too far back for comfort but easily fixed by unlacing that hole. Overall, well-worth it and a solid shoe.

I needed a shoe for overpronation with good cushion. My last running shoes were Ryka's and they had GREAT cushion, but I couldn't find them again. I tried some Asics which I have success with, but they were too wide in the toe box. These Saucony's fit great! Perfect fit in the toes and my inserts fit great. Very comfortable and feel very light compared to my last pair of shoes. Great breatablility too.

Very lightweight mesh shoe. Comfortable structure, but probably not built to last as long as some other running shoes. I compete in marathons and Ironman triathlons, and it is a good shoe to add to my rotation.

I love this top. I use it for running on colder days. The outer side of the fabric is smooth but the inner side of the fabric has a fleece-like feel making is very comfortable. As for sizing, it think it was true to size. I'm 6' 155# and the Med fit perfect. If you get one, I don't think you'd be dissappointed.
