The color is rich and beautiful.
The warmth is average but I would not be wearing it outside for a winter walk or sports - mostly while driving.

It is a nice looking coat, but I have no ideas about sizing or fit because no one tried it on before it went back in the box. It just doesn't feel like wool, and was not at all what I was expecting.

With the soft faux-fur hood pulled over your head, you'll feel enveloped in warmth. I haven't tested it in nasty weather yet, but I expect it'll block the wind, too.
The fit is comfortable, and the look is very classic, yet stands out with the silver details (snaps and zipper pulls). Despite its warmth, the coat isn't at all bulky.
The only drawbacks: all those snaps jingle when you walk, and the black wool attracts and highlights light-colored lint and pet hair.

For me, it was way too big, even though sized small.

The zipper is a little hard to reach down to get started. Medium size shoulder pads look a little boxy- but my shoulders are kind of square already. I usually wear size 4 jeans and this coat in the small size is already generously sized around the hips.
